About this workshop
This floral design class celebrates the beauty of blue in all its variations and is perfect for flower lovers who are curious to explore arranging on a deeper level. While this isn’t a basic introductory class, it’s designed to feel welcoming, inspiring, and approachable for anyone ready to expand their creative skills.
During class, you’ll work with a thoughtfully chosen selection of blue blooms — featuring a range of hues, shades, and tones — including flowers such as Delphinium, Tweedia, Iris, and Thistle (subject to availability). These blooms are selected for their distinctive color and movement, creating an especially rich blue palette for this class.
With guided instruction and plenty of hands-on time, we’ll explore how flowers move within an arrangement, how visual and physical balance affect the overall feel, and how working within a single color family can still create depth and interest. The focus is on learning by doing and experimenting in a relaxed, creative setting. You’ll leave with a finished blue arrangement and a fresh understanding of how thoughtful design choices elevate floral work.
