Job Description

Cass School of Floral Design is on the lookout for talented Floral Design Instructors. This is more than just a teaching gig — it's a front-row seat to shaping the next generation of floral designers. Perfect for an established florist ready to share their skills, embrace creative leadership, and grow within a legacy institution known for innovation.

Since 1979, the award-winning Cass School has led the way in global floral education. Our signature Cass School Method combines timeless design principles with modern teaching techniques — and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to carry that torch forward.

What you'll do

  • Teach and assist in floral design classes for both recreational students and aspiring professionals
  • Collaborate on class planning, curriculum development, and hands-on instruction
  • Bring your own creative vision to life by proposing and leading original workshop concepts
  • Mentor students on design fundamentals, business insights, and real-world floral know-how
  • Evaluate student progress and offer actionable feedback to inspire growth and confidence
  • Contribute to program innovation by testing new tools, floral techniques, and teaching strategies
  • Support the growth of our online learning tools and help integrate technology into classroom and digital experiences
  • Participate in regular team meetings to reflect, refine, and revamp our programming for an even better student experience
  • Represent Cass School at local events, open houses, and social media features as needed

You are

  • A passionate floral designer with at least 3 years of professional experience (freelance or shop-based)
  • A natural communicator, comfortable sharing your design journey and guiding others
  • Excited by the power of education — and eager to use tech to take it to new heights
  • Open to feedback, ready to collaborate, and obsessed with blooming ideas into action
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Why work with us?

We’re not just arranging flowers — we’re arranging futures. At Cass, you’ll find a supportive team, cutting-edge tools, and a vibrant community of alumni cheering you on. This is your chance to teach, learn, and flourish all at once.
